The location of the home was beautiful. The view was everything from the top deck. They had everything we needed to enjoy the family vacation and everyone enjoyed the time we had. The only small issue was the cleanliness of the home when we arrived. There was hair on the pillows in one on the main floor rooms and the top main room. The floors had not been properly swept/ cleaned there was dog hair on/ under the carpet in the living room with a few red stains, and dog hair under most the beds. Trash left on the top master bathroom trash bin. We took care of most of it ourselves. One thing I would recommend is them providing a vacuum and mop so it’s easy to clean the carpet and floors with. Other than that we enjoyed our trip. Would definitely return for our next family vacation to Galveston.

One positive was the house location was great. However, we could tell there hadn’t been a deep clean in quite some time. It was disappointing to see the amount of dust, grime and pet hair everywhere. We did not report the cleanliness as an issue because we just overlooked it at the time. We did report the broken shower door in the bedroom. After using the oven to cook a pizza Monday night we started smelling something like burnt plastic & requested someone come out to check on things. We were asked to have patience and Vacasa Texas would get back to us. Maintenance never came & we did not hear back from Vacasa again on the issue. We checked out on Thursday. The house is rundown compared to other houses around that location. The decks are in need of repair and paint. We would not stay at this location again for the money spent.
