Me and my partner had a great time at Bunkie by the Sea!!! The tiny house is beautiful, the wooded area is very quiet and private, and the highlight is for sure the wood fire hot tub! I highly recommend the short hike down to the waterfall, it was a little too cold to swim but we swam anyway because the water was so nice. I have a few recommendations for anyone staying here: (1) Make sure you take note of the lockbox code before you lose cell service. I forgot to do this and we had to make a trip into branch and find a local spot with wifi so I could log into Air Bnb and find the code, oops! (2) The hike out to the waterfall is pretty boggy, so bring some waterproof shoes or a change of shoes! (3) If you hike down to the waterfall, you can cross the river and climb up the left side of the waterfall to get to an even bigger swimming hole with an even more beautiful waterfall up on the left!!

Highly recommend a stay at the Bunkie By The Sea. Really appreciated all the detail and instructions left by the host and the extra information regarding places to see near by as well in other communities. The beach area and waterfall were beautiful, and nice that they were close by. Extremely clean, cozy and nice decor, with all the necessities included. The hot tub was a nice added bonus as well.

The Bunkie is a beautiful spot to stay. If you're wanting to see the waterfalls, make sure to bring your rubbers because it's a bog to get there (we didn't make it and turned around fairly quick) We wish we had better weather so that we could have enjoyed the hot tub and outdoors. The bathroom and outdoor shower were amazing. The ladder to get to and from the bed is pretty steep, but everything else is amazing. Due to the weather (fog) we found it more difficult to find the Bunkie, but once we got there it was an easy set up. We enjoyed playing boardgames for the entirety of our stay💛

We really enjoyed our time at the Bunkie by the Sea. The surroundings were beautiful. The hottub was super relaxing and the place itself is just so cozy and comfortable. I was super impressed with the "off the grid" setup Louis has at the Bunkie. The bathroom and shower were great. It was so nice to unplug and relax. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. I hope we are back for another one in the future!
