We loved the location and the accommodation was exactly what we needed The only improvement we could suggest would be pay TV The welcome pack was amazing and was exactly what we needed when we arrived We would definitely stay here again

We had a great stay at Rural Retreats with our pup. It was very close to some lovely walks and central Canterbury where all the shops and attractions are. The Airbnb was well equipped and cosy for us and our pup. The only thing was that the upstairs bedroom has 2 window’s and only one had a blind so it meant that we were woken up earlier with the light coming in through the other window. This wasn’t always an issue for us as our pup woke us up early, maybe for those who like a lie in it may be difficult, but this is an easy fix so may be sorted for subsequent stays!

A lovely location and place to stay but a couple of things to note - the slope of the ceiling in the bedroom is very severe and meant that we were only able to stand in a small area of the room which made it quite uncomfortable to move around and get dressed in the room. There isn't a dishwasher as advertised and we found a number of dirty plates/cutlery/glasses in the cupboards/drawers. If you're visiting with a dog it's worth noting that to access the garden you need to head out to the car park and go round the side of the house as the only access is via a side gate which isn't ideal for quick toilet breaks. Lovely basket of food and drink left for us which was a warm welcome.

Great location for exploring Kent coast and countryside. Nice, we’ll equipped accommodation ideally suited for a couple. The welcome hamper was excellent

What a perfect retreat. Perfect for 2 (and a dog). On top of great rural safe walks for our energetic pup. A 2 min drive to the friendliest of pubs, which gladly accepted dogs too. 2 mins to park and ride into Canterbury (recommended as Canterbury parking is difficult). 25 mins from Whitstable for a great beach walk. The cottage was immaculate and so brilliantly equipped. Nothing was left wanting. Lisa was great with communication regarding check in and even offered us a late checkout if we needed it. The bed was super comfy, property temperature ideal. The welcome hamper was pure delight. Can’t thank the owners enough. Will definitely recommend and return.
