A great place, in a good location

Location = 5/5 There is a Safeway downstairs, a Whole Foods 10 minutes walk away, and many other amenities nearby such a a London Drugs, and a Liquor Store. I was working at St. Paul's Hospital, which was a convenient 15-20 minute walk away. The area itself is quiet, and I felt safe. Unit = 5/5 Clean, new, comfortable, quiet. Beautiful views from the windows. Queen size bed is comfortable, although a bit springy if there are two people (i.e., you can feel every movement the other person makes). Lots of hot water in the shower. Basic Supplies = 2/5 Kitchen has basics like plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, toaster, coffee pot, kettle. The kitchen did not have any basics like salt & pepper, spices, oil, coffee, or tea, so I had to stock-up on those. There is a baking sheet for the oven, but no cooling rack, and no pot-holders. There was a single dishtowel (that smelled moldy), no dish-drying rack. The unit came with 2 rolls of TP, 2 dishwasher cleaning tabs, 2 laundry pods, and 1.5 rolls of paper towel. Given that this unit must be rented for 30 or more days, this was grossly insufficient. I had to purchase my own garbage bags, cleaning supplies, dish soap, laundry detergent, and toilet paper. The bath towels were very small and thin, so I bought my own. It cost a decent amount of money to purchase all the supplies that I needed for my stay. Check-in =1/5 It took over an hour to check-in, and it was only because another visitor helped out. When I finally got to my rental, the bathroom was locked from the inside, and it took 30 minutes for the local Corporate Stays representative to even return my phone call about it. It was a very frustrating process. Basic Information for Visitors = 2/5 I was given information about wifi access, check-in, and check-out. No information was provided about where/when to throw about garbage and recycling, how to access the gym, how to use the thermostat, quiet hours of the building, etc. Wifi = 5/5 Good connectivity. Zoom calls work well. Netflix works well on the T.V. (Note: You will need your own Netflix account to log-in.) Overall Rating = 3.5/5 Location is excellent, unit is new, clean, and quiet. Check-in was poor. Lack of basic supplies needed for an extended stay means that you will need to spend time and money going out to buy things, or will need to bring your own. (Frustrating when the cost of this rental is already very high.) Missing the additional touches that you get when you rent directly from an Airbnb owner, such as notes with helpful information, coffee/tea, salt and basic spices, etc.

Pro: great location, new building and fully furnished, simple design and fully functional. Cons: Checkin: no one answered the buzzer when I tried to check in Cleanness: when I entered the unit, there was a strong pet odor and pet fur everywhere Customer service: tried to borrow a vacuum to clean up the fur, took them two days to send someone, I spent a few hours to clean up the unit myself. On the third day of my stay, I was told there is availability to extend, I requested to extend, three days later, I have been told it's no longer available, I need to vacant the unit as planned. It's hard to get hold of local concierge team, poorly communication
