我们在小屋度过了完美的4天！小屋的位置安静，风景太美了，是我们最满意的度假小屋。屋内设施齐全干净，小屋装修也非常用心。房东夫妇很友善，非常值得入住，和朋友们一起在此度过悠长假期。

We had the best stay at ‘Le Shedaux’! Paul and Rachel were brilliant hosts, super friendly and helpful and so welcoming. We had a fabulous few days in the beautiful countryside, enjoying some early spring sunshine during the day and wine by the fire in the evening. Bliss. St Privat is so pretty and Aubeterre close by has great restaurants and loads to do. Highly recommend!

What a perfect place to stay! Le Shedeaux is a gorgeous little place set amongst sunflower fields. It’s quiet, peaceful and the gite has been renovated so beautifully. It had everything we needed for a family of four. A great location for exploring the Dordogne. The local villages were very pretty and we were within an hour of Saint Emilion, Bergerac and Bordeaux. The home is clean, looks like the pictures and the exterior is picture perfect. Paul and Rachel were so lovely with our children, their restaurant recommendations were great and they even helped us book a restaurant one evening. We had a perfect stay, thank you so so much!

Le Shedaux instantly feels like ‘home’. It’s a beautiful place, full of character, and hosts Paul and Rachel are warm, welcoming and good fun. Nothing is too much trouble; we were arriving late on a Saturday evening so Paul bought some provisions to keep us going until we could get to the supermarket. He even arranged a restaurant booking for us for later in the week - a perfect example of how they go the extra mile. And as for the place itself, it’s the perfect de-stressing home from home. Sit in the outside dining area, grab a bottle of wine and take in the incredible views. During our week we saw buzzards, deer, hare, owls, a hupu bird and the inevitable lizards, so if nature is your thing there’s plenty to see. I also managed several runs along the local roads, and barely saw any traffic, so walks, bike rides and runs are all conveniently on your doorstep. Le Shedaux is a wonderful place, with wonderful hosts. We can’t recommend it enough!

What a wonderful holiday we’ve just had at Le Shedaux! Paul and Rachel made us feel so welcome and were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was superb, it had everything that you needed and more. The beautiful surroundings, made for a peaceful and truly fantastic family holiday. The surrounding area was stunning too. Pool was lovely, enjoyed by all! Thank you to Paul and Rachel, we will definitely be coming back for another wonderful holiday.
