Had a group of HS wrestlers for a local tournament. Was an unbelievable location that was perfect for our group. Views are breathtaking. Extremely private and serene.

The Kress suite was stunning! Our only issue was that there was absolutely no heat besides space heaters. We had to go out and buy our own heaters to adequately warm the house (especially with children) since there were no extra heaters and some of the rooms didn’t have any. One of the rooms never heated, and luckily, some of our party was sick, so we didn’t have to use that room. If this place would have had heat, I’d have given 5 stars. We knew day off that we couldn’t excessively run the heat, but that turned into no heat at all when we arrived. Overall, it was a good place, and I’d visit again as long as the heat worked. The views are stunning, and the person there to help you is so nice. It was a neat place, all in all. Lisa is also a very responsive host. The Kress Suite is clean, spacious, and very neat to visit.

Our family stayed in the Kress Suite, and overall it met our needs. The highlight was our housekeeper, Mary, who was a joy to interact with. The suite was spotless! Though we had a good stay, I do have a few critiques: this wasn’t an issue for us, but it was not very clear on the listing that the suite was part of a lodge where other guests would be staying (assumed it was a guest suite of a private residence). There is not enough seating at the dining table/bar for the number of guests it sleeps. The kitchen was pretty bare in terms of equipment (no mixing bowls, whisks, baking dishes, etc. though it did have pots/pans/cooking utensils). On the second night the heat went out in the suite, and though Mary tried to help, it was not fixed before we left (thankfully lowest it got was 64 so we managed). Lastly, there is no deadbolt on the door to the common area which made is feel a bit vulnerable. Overall a good value, but wanted to leave honest feedback!
