We were charged for the heating of the hot tub and the swimming pool when we only asked for the hot tub. The hot tub heater didn't work and it took three days before it was fixed. We only had the hot tub for two nights but were charged the full amount less $75 for the lost 3 days for only the hot tub but were still charged for the pool which we didn't use. We paid almost $400 for two nights in the hot tub. Be sure to read the hot tub charges. They are not addressed up front, just in one of the followup emails.

SPA COMPLETELY UNUSABLE AND NO ATTEMPT MADE TO FIX IT. Staff are 100% focused on following rules and 0% focused on meeting guests’ needs. When they were alerted the spa didn’t work they made exactly zero attempts to correct the problem despite charging an exorbitant $275 extra (hidden) fee for the spa and pool. This despite being asked in advance for a walkthru to make sure everything worked. Didn’t even offer refund. Secondly the wrong lock box code was given. This is kind of an important aspect of checkin, so we couldn’t get in. Would never have picked this place if the jacuzzi didn’t work.

The house and location are absolutely superb. Beautifully appointed, amazing views, and perhaps even better than described in many ways. There are some small things (single ply toilet paper, bar soap, cheap bathroom products) that could use improvement by Vacasa, particularly for a rental of this caliber, but none of it was material to the stay. Vacasa was friendly to deal with, but they were not really all that customer service oriented or organized. One little example, we were told the dish washer couldn’t be used and that someone would come out to look at it - when they did 4 days later it was not actually broken and there had been a miscommunication. Overall lovely home, great neighborhood, and ok management interaction.

The Lookout was perfect for our group: multiple common areas with lots of room to retreat for privacy as needed. Nestled against the mountains, the setting is spectacular. The exuberant interior design matched our festive mood. Well done!

Unbelievably beautiful, the only problem with this property is that you will not want to leave. Perfect for guest, perfect location, perfect perfect perfect.
