Southwinds was an absolute delight, with an ideal location at the north end of Gibbs Beach. The property has been recently refurbished (we were the first occupants since this had been completed) & surpassed even our wildest expectations. Donna the housekeeper was very friendly, & kept the place sparkling clean & tidy. She offered to come some extra days to help us with our personal laundry which was a big help. Overall this property offers exceptional, comfortable, roomy accommodation for 6 people with all new, modern appliances & a well equipped kitchen. The external space is well planed with chairs, loungers & general seating. Areas of sunshine & shade change as the sun tracks across the sky. Providing cool shade & bright spots depending on your tanning requirements. There is also a large table for alfresco dining. A lovely open plan, well furnished & comfortable covered area overlooking the beach & sea for those rare rainy days, or just to take a break from the sun. This includes a great bar area with its own sink & fridge/freezer. This is accessed from the open plan kitchen. We could not have asked for a better beach house. The villa manager Dili was very attentive & responded rapidly to all of our questions. She organised 2 excellent chefs during our stay who were both exceptional. We would certainly recommend Southwinds to others & are already planning our return
