We arrived late to find the property hadn't been cleaned since the last guests. Dirty towels lying about, beds clearly had been slept in, dirty dishes in the kitchen, kitchen bin hadn't been emptied, bathroom dirty, absolutely freezing. Couldn't get a hold of host, thankfully Airbnb cancelled our stay and refunded us immediately. Host later apologised, she had been unwell and unable to take our call and cleaner had the wrong dates but a devastating start to our holiday and expensive as we had to find a hotel that would take the 5 of us at 10pm.

I really enjoyed staying here, extremely clean and had everything you would need. everything was very good quality. The host was very informative, helpful and fixed a wee blip on arrival even though it was Christmas Eve Kathleen went above and beyond to help fix it, can't wait till next visit .

This was my second visit to Horse Island view and I will book it again in the future. It’s a clean, well equipped modern house will lovely garden and uninterrupted view to Arran. It’s a very nice neighborhood and minutes walking distance to bus stops to go either way up and down the coast. It’s a 15 min walk to the main st in Ardrossan . There was a very thoughtful welcome pack which is a nice touch from the hosts.
