the driveway is a little tricky to catch if you come after sundown, other than that its a truly beautiful home, very peaceful, lots of bed space and sleeping arrangement options. very notable water pressure, the showers could push you backwards on the higher settings 10/10

Southern comfort & charm can be found at this heirloom cabin nestled along Lay lake. With 8 beds there was a cozy space for everyone. I especially enjoyed the way the sunlight comes in through the master suit bedroom windows reflecting off the antique mirror casting prisms of light throughout the suit. The double doors leading into the living room give a lovely touch. We enjoyed the art work, kayaks on the lake & the peaceful setting. The big back porch has a large family style table perfect for pancake breakfast, rocking chairs & a porch swing with a perfect view of the sunset. The loft has a birds eye view that we all enjoyed. With so much space & a river rock fireplace it truly is our families family cabin so we plan to return for holidays in the future.

Location was good for our needs being on the lake and the house has great potential to be a nice place, but it needs a lot of cleaning and some maintenance. There was mold in the bathroom and a bad musty odor like the tub could be leaking. The hot water didn’t last more than 5 minutes taking a shower. There were cobwebs everywhere throughout the house and terrible amounts of dust. You could tell the place is not cleaned on a regular basis. While booking, I read a bad review about this and thought these issues would have been addressed because Evolve acknowledged them, but upon staying I experienced the same issues. I’ve stayed in places like this before and not complained because the price reflected the conditions, but for over $2,000 for the week I expect more. This place is not worth the price charged

We had a total of 8 people stay and has plenty of room! Hosts were very nice and informative of our check in and check out. Had a ton of fun fishing, grilling, and simply enjoying the lake.

Good morning! We were suppose to check out of Walter’s Heaven today. However, due to no hot water, rat shit, dead roaches in the showers, cobb webs covering the entire inside of the house, dirty fridge, and sheets with hair all over them. We left. I have been renting houses from AirBnB and VRBO for years. I have never experienced such filth in my life. There is old spices in cabinets that are fermented. The smell of this rental will knock you to the ground. Candles, air fresh and Lysol, doors open were no match for the stench! Also not in description of the rental. There is a man that lives on the property, the doors do not lock, their is a pad lock to access the rental. Whoever took the photos that are posted on The site, needs to win an Academy award. The house needs to be removed from the site. As a home owner, I would be embarrassed to let anyone in this place !
