Beautiful little spot, perfect for what we needed! Very clean, and very comfortable bed. We had some trouble finding it, just because Apple Maps was off on the location and we were confused by the gate instructions in the dark, but they thoughtfully left out signs with my name on it once we got past there.

Amazing little find in the heart of downtown Martinez! The hosts were very communicative, kind and checked in with me throughout my stay. The place was perfect for just myself to spend a few nights and explore the area. The weather didn’t cooperate but I’d love to come back to visit sometime soon!

The Sidekick is homey and so pleasant. I enjoyed having meals on the private patio. The kitchenette had what was needed for simple meals and coffee and grinder ready to go. The landscaping is gorgeous and adds to the peace. It’s just a few minute walk to the unique downtown. Although I live just a half hour away, when I need a respite, I return. I highly recommend any of the cottages available in this delightful property!

From the moment we arrived we were super excited about how adorable everything was! It was very peaceful but not far from unique shops and tasty restaurants. The people downtown were friendly and welcoming. The landscaping in the courtyard is absolutely dreamy! It elevates your mood the second you walk into it. There are lots of birds to admire there as well. The hosts were so attentive and sweet! They let me have some friends/family stop by for a quick visit. We were going to an event downtown and met up at “The Sidekick”. They all felt the same way about this little gem as we did. When it was time to head out for the event one of them said she wished we could stay longer because it was so wonderful! My husband and I have busy schedules so this was a perfect setting to take a break from it all. We went home feeling refreshed. We’d definitely love to come back someday. Thank you again Tami and Scott for a lovely stay!

Tami & Scott’s place is a gem in Martinez! We are looking for a place to stay in the Bay Area for the weekend and found their place. It is exactly what we saw in the pictures. Plus the coziness & peacefulness of the place is a plus. Communication is also very good. Thank you Tami & Scott, I highly recommend your place!
