A perfect Muskoka getaway in the heart of Port Carling. This 1940's Muskoka Cottage combines lakeside living with the accessibility of all Town's amenities (LCBO, dining, shopping, museum, golfing, etc) just a short walk (or swim) away. The west-facing Muskoka Room and private dock are both perfect to enjoy the sunshine during the day and to sip on a beverage to watch the sunset in the evening. Perfect spot for a couples retreat, friends get-away, or small family vacation! This cozy, year-round cottage has been renovated periodically over the years with a custom built kitchen, laminate and carpeted flooring, renovated main floor washroom with sliding pocket door, new lighting throughout some of the house, and a brand new propane furnace for winter-use. The cottage was fully furnished with new furniture in 2021 including Endy mattresses in both bedrooms. Sheets, Pillows, and Towels are provided for your comfort. Rustic touches can be spotted throughout the cottage with original skeleton key-style doors on the main and second level (original keys not provided). Cottage includes on-site parking, Propane BBQ, shallow water, private dock with boat parking, fire pit (firewood NOT provided), and basic outdoor seating for your enjoyment. We also have one paddle board, one single-person kayak, and supply a few adult life jackets. The cottage is located in close proximity so some of the neighbouring cottages. *Like most older homes, the improvements never end!
