Susan has a cozy home with a beautiful view of Lake Talquin. My family enjoyed our week-long stay that included lots of fishing, playing pool and other games, and overall just relaxing in the serene surroundings. It's a very quiet and private property. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and it was very clean. The only hiccup we had was immediately addressed by the hosts and that was very much appreciated. Please note that the steps to the second floor (access to king + twin bed room) are very steep and the beds in the house are quite soft, so not great for those that need a firmer mattress. I would highly recommend Susan's home to friends!

Beautiful house and location. The dock was great for fishing. The house is beautifully decorated. Has a game room with a full size pool table. The perfect getaway!

We rent on Lake Talquin typically every year for Thanksgiving to visit local family. This home was among our favorites for its sweeping views of the lake and the inviting personal touches. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals and ample storage space for the things we brought along. Bedrooms were comfortable and with six guests we all still had good space. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and would stroll the area and stairs leading down to the lake and dock. We played games provided in the evening, and there was just something for everyone. Completely recommend this property for a great home away from home.

One of the best views on lake Talquin, house has a lodge feeling. If you want to get away (still not far from town) and relax this is the place for you. I look forward to my next trip.
