What a magical little getaway! The location is idyllic, the animals are lovely and well cared for. The owners of the farm are very friendly and let us feed some of the Alpacas while they were doing their rounds. Thanks too for the complementary eggs and animal feed. The accommodation itself is clean, cosy, and a little dated but functional. We struggled a bit with the 10 am check out on top of the tasks required (stripping beds, drying and putting away washing up, taking out bins etc) but we weren't hurried out. Having the hot tub was so lovely, it is really pretty with the fairy lights. Sadly not all the jets seemed to be working though. Overall we had a really good time and would recommend this stay!

Staying at the Duckhouse was an absolute delight! If you crave a retreat into nature's embrace with adorable animals as your companions, this is the place for you. The outdoor hot tub added a luxurious touch to our experience. Highly recommend this charming getaway!

We had a fantastic stay. It's a pity that we didn't bring our grandchildren with us, because they would have loved all the animals. Their fresh eggs every morning are the best we've had in for a long time❤️ . A great location for us as we love to travel, so it was perfect to get to any desired destination. After our day trips around the area, the hot tub was great on a chilly evening and a great addition👌. The food at the local Yewtree Pub was very tasty.The farm is very clean and kept in perfect order 👍

We booked this for a working break so it was a great location to enjoy peace and quiet to focus. Location was easy to find and check in super easy. The farm was well looked after and most enjoyable to walk around the animals. The accommodation was okay, but it needs some maintenance . It didn't look as nice as the photos. It is quite an old caravan with lots of marks & small holes in the walls. The curtains need a clean, there was a small rip in the leather sofa. It was quite cold and the pilot on the gas fire was not working and whilst the small electric heater & blow heater took the edge off but we both sat in blankets. The kettle leaks if you pour too quickly and we had no hot water on the 1st despite running the tap for a very lengthy time but it came on the following day. The TV signal dropped out as did the WIFI which was frustrating so we had to hot spot for work. Due to weather we didn't use the hot tub. If it were updated and refreshed it would be a lovely place.

We have been coming to Andy’s farm for years and years, I think our first visit was in 2021 and we loved our stay and always have done. Only thing I’d say is that the duckhouse could do with a new update of life, nothing has changed since we visited in 2021 except the price 😓 What used to be a £70 visit now costs us £175, which is fine but I believe the Duckhouse is well overdue a renovation! It looks the same as it always has done and doesn’t quite match the appearance of other lodges such as THE WILLOWS (which we LOVE!) ✌🏼 Area is perfect as usual, our favourite place to recharge.
