I cannot say enough good things about my family’s stay here and how amazing Paulina is as a host. The property is newly renovated and stunning both inside and out. We all felt right at home and so relaxed all weekend. Paulina was extremely accommodating, responsive, and an overall pleasure to deal with. My family and I cannot wait to come back the next time we visit Maine:)

We loved our stay! The lake was beautiful, and we enjoyed hearing the loons. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well. The neighboring houses are a lot closer than we were expecting, but it was quiet.

Our family trip to Maine and Acadia was perfect. The home is just under an hour to Acadia/Bar Harbor, which was very manageable. Waking up to the sounds of loons on the lake always brought a smile to our faces. The home was clean and as described…the view of the lake along with the access via the beach was better than we imagined. We had a wonderful time at the home and loved having use of the kayaks, paddle boards and the canoe. The water is pristine and every time we looked over the lake from inside or outside the home, we were in awe. The setting is beautiful. Paulina and her father offered terrific guidance and were responsive to our questions. The only complaint was having to leave at the end of our stay. I think it’s safe to say our first trip to Maine will not be our last. And we hope to stay at the Loon Lounge again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality and for offering up your beautiful home!

My family and I had a wonderful vacation together at this lake house! -The house is right on the lake with an outdoor seating area and fire pit that we greatly enjoyed. -We were 6 adults and 2 kids and the space accommodated us well. We couldn’t all lounge in the living room at the same time, but the screened in porch and outdoor seating area gave everyone a space to be. -Beach towels were provided in addition to shower towels which was a nice touch -Everything in the kitchen worked well, and there were enough dishes and silverware for our large group -For noise sensitive sleepers: while this cabin has been updated, it is still a cabin and the floors and doors creak/squeak. Bring ear plugs. There are fans in each room which reduce noise. -The lake wasn’t heavily trafficked by boats, making it ideal for kayaking and canoeing. -There are other houses close by but it didn’t feel crowded and everyone was respectful of noise and space. -Truly one of the best places I have stayed in!
