I can’t explain to y’all how beautiful this location is. If y’all get the time rent kayaks and explore Lake Latt, it really makes you feel like you’re in the heart of Louisiana. For a couple Texas boys like us, the fishing, experience, and the environment, it was a great trip that I’ll 100% do again.

David's place was so awesome. my daughter and I loved the place. It was an amazing adventure andvery peaceful. Miranda was awesome host. We rented a paddle boat and fished all day. Did not catch anything but we had a blast.we met 2 great veterans there and we had a great visit. they gave us some fish the had caught. I would rate this a number one spot for us and we will return. Thank you so much David, Keith and Miranda for a warm Lousinana welcome.

We will definitely be back. It is so peaceful at the cabins. The atmosphere was perfect. I encourage everyone to visit at least once and you’re sure to come back.

We had a great time! Lake Iatt was one of the most beautiful lakes I’ve ever seen in my life and it was beyond incredible to get to kayak on it. We originally rented the boat house but David let us know a few days in advance of our stay that the water was too low to access the boat house and he offered us his other cabin for the same price. It was an upgrade as far as amenities and was still right next to the water. David was very proactive about communication, gave clear directions for driving there and check in, and he and Miranda were very accommodating for kayaking logistics. He even let us know that there was no one booked for the day we were leaving and let us stay past the check out time. Overall the property was absolutely gorgeous, with so many fun activities to do, and the hosts went above and beyond to make it a great stay.
