Great place for a weekend getaway. Went up for a guys golfing trip. Plenty of room to relax with the luxury of amenities. Will go back at some point.

This place was AMAZING! Beautiful house and so much to do in the area. We hiked Hawk Mountain, Orchard Grove, and the Witt Swamp preserve which were all great. Also visited Portland and ate at Eventide which was so good and stopped at Allagash and Maine Beer Co. as well. We also cooked here for some meals and then ate locally at Gary's Olde Town Tavern and Black Horse Tavern. We kayaked and the pedalboat was a huge hit with my little guys. We had fin fishing as well :) Thank you for the perfect stay.

We had a great time at Penny’s cabin-it was perfect for our short winter getaway! The lake was frozen and my husband ice fished right in front of the house-I could look out any window and see him! The winter view is beautiful from the house, I’m sure the fall and summer must be stunning! If you go in the winter bring skates and ice-fishing gear. The house was gorgeous, exactly as described, and was very peaceful and comfortable. Plenty of room for the five of us and our dog, and plenty of towels, linens, etc. Penny was incredibly helpful and accommodating, she gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The pellet stoves were perfect and kept the house warm and cozy. We would definitely stay here again.
