Shajena and Gabriel were wonderful hosts. They were so helpful with prompt replies to all of my questions. They helped me think through transportation questions that I had that were peripheral to staying at their place, which I really appreciated! Their description accurately matched the space. It was clean and perfect for our needs. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay within easy metro distance to DC, this is it.

Perfect!! We loved Shajena and Gabriel's place. It was exactly as they described and really close to the metro. You definitely can hear them upstairs but they are very open about that and it didn't bother us at all. They do provide ear plugs if the noise does bother you. It was absolutely wonderful having our own parking space so we could just leave the car when we needed to. Really clean and has everything you could need. We didn't need to communicate with them but they were absolutely there if we needed them. We loved staying there and will definitely stay again when we are back in DC!!!!

My two sisters and I had a wonderful stay over the Easter holiday. We loved being guests at Shajena and Gaberiel’s place and would gladly recommend it to others with no reservations! It was very walkable and easy to get to and from the Metro and the personal parking spot made it very convenient for us while we had a car for part of our trip. They were very communicative about their plans for the weekend so we knew when to expect people walking around above, but even then the noise didn’t bother us at all….its an old house and noise is to be expected. :-) It was very quiet and peaceful overall. Having the ability to do laundry within the unit was a huge blessing as well. All in all I would rate them 4.95/5! The only minor deduction would be to have a little stronger water pressure in the shower. :-) Can’t wait to stay at their place again when in DC!
