To the other side is a wilder garden with native fruit trees and tropical plants. The maze path leading through this will be a delight for young children playing hide and seek. It consists of a cluster of villages. Located on the quieter side, Faja da Ovelha offers a peaceful location,but with convenient access 5 minutes away to join the recently extended Via Rapide. From here it is convenient to start a days exploration of the island, or just to enjoy local attractions. eg 5 minutes by car to the nearest quality Restaurants at Ponta do Pargo OR 12/15 minutes to Calheta Marina, with its Beach, Restaurants and Water activities.
