We stayed at Foxhills shepards hut for a long weekend with our dog. Great location, walking distance from supermarket and a local pub. We drove to some lovely walks in the new forest which were only 5/10mins away. We were very lucky with the weather so were able to make use of the outdoor bbq and garden patio in the evenings! Comfortable bed and powerful shower. Would definitely recommend for a long weekend! :)

Loved my stay at Foxhill - Shepards retreat. I had the luxury of being the only booking so extra peaceful! Lots to do within the local area, myself and my dog Nala has the best time and the best weather

Perfect stay! We were greeted by the lovely host on arrival. The shepherds retreat was very well maintained and very clean and tidy. Perfect facilities and much more spacious than you may think. The log burner ensures a cosy, toasty stay and the view out front is lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and privacy of this place and it was the perfect base for our explorations of the area. thanks we would love to stay again.

we booked Foxhill as an anniversary getaway, but needed to rebook, where Heather was most helpful. The checking was great and Heather showed us around and even gave Rupert the dog attention. The Shepherds Retreat was absolutely spotless and cosy. We slept amazing. The location is just perfect, close to the New Forest and close to the sea, so we fit in 2 walks, one in the morning g in the forest and one in the afternoon by the sea. We had an absolute wonderful stay. Thank you so much Heather
