We were a little hesitant about this one given the lack of reviews and the fact that I was a hosting company vs an individual host. However, we were very pleased. Residence Trocker is a small hotel with apartments catering to hikers and skiers. The check-in was at the front desk and while we had no communication with them beforehand it was super easy and they were very nice. (we texted and whatsapp as one would a regular individual host but did not get a response - I suspect because the booking company just gave us the landline front desk number.) the hotel has a bar and restaurant and little outdoor play area for kids. There is also a sauna that we did not use. the apartment was super clean and comfortable. there is no AC and the upstairs did get a little toasty at night (a ceiling fan would have been perfect). the loft stairs are steep and narrow (we did not let the kids climb them). But otherwise it was all perfect - clean and easy!
