The unit is a large 40 sq.m. fully furnished room with a kitchenette and en-suite shower and toilet room for your use only. The unit is in the back garden facing the pool. Large 40 sq. m. private open plan room with own entrance. Your host Charl is a multimedia lecturer, pilot, yachtsman and scuba diver and will love to have you stay at the Besthouse. The apartment is for your use only. Modern Interior, beautiful surroundings, stunning garden and pool. Great nightlife and many wine farms for tastings. Great down hill for skateboarding, forest walks and walks in the park nearby. We have top security and are the safest area in Stellenbosch and only 6 minutes by bicycle from the centre of town.

I'm a French student who stayed for a few months at The Besthouse while attending Stellenbosch University. My garden flat were spacious, 100% clean and fully equiped. The huge 10 meter swimming pool in the peaceful setting in the back garden which is for guests to use, have a king size sunbed and a gym. Wifi cover the 3000 meter property and on a back-up inverter, with no loadshedding, ideal for digital nomads and students. Safety is paramount at the besthouse and the area is super safe. Even an armed response team on standby who can assist within 2 minutes. Perfect to walk, cycle or run and to walk to university. A shop is only 8 minutes walking through a park with exotic indigenous trees.
Perfect and quiet location, but close enough to get everything done.
Amazing hospitality and friendly service. I would recommend staying here during your time in Stellenbosch.

Campus and centre of town is 1,8 km. away and safe to walk or cycle. Many ubers available.

Your host Charl Best is the founder and head of the Stellenbosch Institute of Photography & Multimedia, reknowned photographer, radio host lecturer, yachtsman, scuba diver and pilot. He has done 15 international photo exhibitions and still practice professional photography. His photos are published in newspapers and international magazines. He also love travelling and visit Thailand every July to guide an underwater photography tour. He also love skiing and visit Flachau in Austria whenever he can. Best movie, Meet Jo Black and Transformers, also Discovery channel. Charl like to spoil his guests and designed the besthouse with style and quality in mind. You have beautiful views overlooking Stellenbosch, pool table, barbeque, large swimming pool with sunbathing area, wine tastings, boogie boards for surfing, board games, internet, DVD player with movies, DSTV and a beautiful garden. Charl knows where the best spots to visit are. Just ask !
