This rustic cottage was built in 1950 and has a GAS BURNING heater for heat( WHICH IS HOT TO TOUCH) in the living room which adds to the cozy warm ambiance. It is a clean and simple 700 sq ft house which is small but fits 4 people comfortably. ( No more than 4 people per HUD guidelines. Please don't ask) Because of the gas burning stove, it is not baby/toddler friendly. There is only AC in the months of June through October. Our climate does not require AC the rest of the year. It has all been remodeled except for the lovely vintage cabin panelling in the living room. There is no dining room but a small apartment size table in the living room for meals. The bedrooms both have queen size memory foam beds There is a TV and internet, however , TV is a Roku. Instructions in the living room. The yard is fully fenced for your pets. Parking is off street and can accommodate two cars. A washer and dryer is included for laundry. There is an air-conditioner in the living room for your comfort(disconnected in mid October and reconnected June 1). At the front entrance of the house are two 24/7 outside security cameras for safety purposes and are checked at check in and again at check out. The kitchen is also equipped with a Keurig for your morning cup of coffee and a full set of cookware and utensils. There is no dishwasher so dishes will have to be washed by hand. This is a no smoking property. TWO dogs are allowed but there is a $500 refundable security deposit required (returned at check out). Should your dog cause damage , you will be contacted and be required to reimburse me. (Absolutely no cats). Dogs must be crated if left alone inside the house. The yard is fully fenced but it is recommended you do not leave your dog outside while you are gone. For those who have animal allergies, be aware that though the house is thoroughly sanitized after each guest, we cannot guarantee there will be no pet allergens in the house. This house is located in an alleyway but once you book , specific directions will be given to you. Because of this houses' location, no trailers or car haulers or boats, etc can be parked here. The alleyway is too narrow. Full details are listed in the House Rules. **Monthly Discount** Must have positive Airbnb reviews. $500 Security Deposit and cleaning fee of $250 will be required. You will also be required to fill out a short rental application and sign a short term lease contract. STAYS OF 2 - 3 WEEKS WILL pay the same cleaning fee as monthly stays. Security deposit is $250 for a 2-3 week stay. This house is perfect for traveling medical personnel, traveling contractors, Mining contractors, etc etc. Also great to explore Elko and Lamoille\Ruby Mountains. There are lots of different sites to see in Elko including the California Trail Center, Cowboy Museum, the Western Folklore Center (Home of Cowboy Poetry), and the Northeastern Nevada Museum.
