We had the most amazing weekend getaway at Lou's Bear Retreat Cabin. The house is beautiful and we loved the "bear" theme throughout the home. The kitchen had everything we needed. The master bedroom/bathroom was gorgeous. Loved it! The game room, games in the home, campsite with the smores kit--all great fun!! We soaked it all up. Lou was super responsive and friendly to texts & calls. We drove 20-30 mins from the home to a panoramic views of mountains in WV and Berkeley Springs (craft stores, beautiful park w/spring water and salt bath houses--just fantastic. It was like a mini-resort without all the people--just perfect. The drive from No VA was about 2 hours so far enough to get away and close enough that the drive didn't tax us too much. This place is fabulous and we will stay again!!!

This had everything we needed and more! The place was spacious, well-equipped, and perfectly suited for our family. Lou was incredibly responsive and provided us with all the information we needed to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. The property offered a great mix of activities, both right on-site and relatively nearby, making it perfect for families. We had such a wonderful time and highly recommend!
