We just returned from a month-long stay in Helen’s Abbotsford studio. We had a lovely stay and the studio was charming, comfortable and very well-equipped. There were too many thoughtful details to recall! Helen, Ian and Made were wonderful and welcoming hosts. The studio is a short walk to the train on a lovely quiet street (and a shorter walk to the bus). Abbottsford and the nearby suburbs have great cafes, pubs and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the studio's proximity to the Yarra River trails. We are already home sick for this home-away-from-home. We hope to return again!

Easily my best airbnb experience to date! Staying at Helen’s studio was amazing, not only is it a beautiful place but Helen made me feel so welcome. I felt very at home for my almost 2 week stay. Anything you can think of that you may need, I bet you’ll find it in the studio! I will definitely try to stay here again for any future trips to Melbourne!! The surrounding suburb was a great place to explore with a lot going on and it was only a short walk to public transport to get around town. Thank you so much Helen for your hospitality!! :)

We had a wonderful time at Helen's. The apartment has a lot of character, is cozy, and is excellently equipped. The area is very peaceful, yet you can quickly reach the lively areas. What made the trip particularly special, however, is the care and hospitality of Helen and Jon. Thank you very much to both of them. We would come back anytime.

It's hard to know where to start. Helen is the most engaging, helpful, and kind AirBnB host I have ever experienced. There was a lovely welcome hamper, Helen and Ian wecomed us taking the time to make sure we were okay, had everything we needed and answered any questions we had. Check-in could not have been more flexible, and we had to as to change plans a few times. Helen was always accommodating and supportive. The place, I mean it's designed and decorated by two excellent architects and that shines through. The pictures so not do it justice, it's super artsy, located in a lovely area with easy access to the city. It is kitted out beyond belief. We stayed for a month and did not have to really buy anything! Bed is extremely comfortable, as is the bedding! You will feel very at home here and it makes a visit to Melbourne all the more memorable. We were lucky to spend some time with Helen and Ian and genuinely feel we have made a friendship as well as had a great AirBnb experience.

My stay at Helen & Ian’s studio completely exceeded my expectations. The property is so unique and truly unlike anything else out there. Helen was extremely accomodating and responsive and made me feel right at home.
