We loved our experience! The Octopus Lair checked all the boxes for our family. Our elderly mother needed a bedroom with bathroom on a main level for ease of access. We also needed two additional bedrooms with at least one king bed for adult couples. Walking distance to the beach. Local restaurants within a few minutes drive. We also loved the gaming tables and big screen TV for family fun. The kitchen and laundry areas were bonus! Had everything we needed to feel like home. We highly recommend Octopus Lair to anyone who wants to gather with family for a relaxing beach getaway. Sandy is an ultimate hostess. She was prompt to answer questions and kept me informed about check-in/check out protocols. She even checked in after our first night to make sure we were comfortable. We would absolutely go back!

We were really thrilled with our stay at Sandra's! Sandy was so communicative before and during the trip. The townhouse was perfect - the beds were comfortable, each room had a tv, the games (darts, Pac-Man, Xbox, ping pong, and shuffle board) kept everyone entertained at night, and the place was SO clean! It was probably the cleanest airbnb we've stayed in including non pet friendly stays we've done. Speaking of pets - the extra water bowls, dog towels, and poop bags were a really nice touch. The walk to the beach was about .4 miles which was perfect for us, we loved taking the dogs straight to the beach from the house and exploring. The only thing for dog owners to know is the grass is about 200 ft or so away - not a huge deal and we knew there was no fenced yard, but make sure you bring a flashlight for taking pups out at night and just keep the distance in mind if you have older dogs. Overall the townhouse was a 10/10 and we'd happily stay here again!

We actually didn’t get to stay because of a snow storm. However the communication was amazing and response time very quick. We look forward to staying here later in the year and are so disappointed we had our trip postponed.

Wow! This house had everything from the perfect location near the beach for when the sun came out to all the fun games when it was raining. Such an inviting space. The perfect place for family fun! We would definitely come here again!
