Nice place. beach just across the road. They have let some of the garden plants grow up and block post of the ocean view, particularly if sitting at the breakfast table, which feels like a miss. can be some activity in the car park adjacent but I liked the people watching of the surfers coming and going.

Lovely area. It rained most of the time we were there. This did not stop us from walking on the beach though. The washing machine is quite small and no dryer. Made a few trips to whakatane to the laundromat. No extra linen for beds - did not bother the host though - just added them to the laundry visits. My daughter is wheelchair bound, the house had a shower for the disabled this was a bonus for us.. Internal garage access especially helpful on the rainy days. Had most of the things we were looking for. 👍

Loved our stay! Most beautiful location, beautiful house, we were able to have a late check out which was so great. Had a really nice stay, will definitely book again next year. Just one little note: make sure to contact them through bachcare, I didn’t get any reply on my Airbnb chat.

Lovely spot. Great beach views. Comfortable beds. Just if you need anything answered by host there was no response.
