We were visiting Virginia Beach for our son’s graduation from the Army School of Music. When looking for a place to stay, Tequila Sunrise just stood out from the rest. Once booked, Eric promptly messaged me with the details. A week after booking we found out graduation was earlier than expected so I messaged Eric and within minutes he had our arrival date modified. A few days before arriving, Eric emailed and then called me with details of our arrival day. We had 8 people in our immediate family and there was plenty of rooms and beds for everyone. Everything we needed was provided (less the groceries) To say this place was beautiful is an understatement but, that’s not even the best part of our stay. There’s a reason they call it Tequila Sunrise, they were just breathtaking! We quickly found ourselves waking early every morning just to sit on the deck, sipping coffee awaiting the sunrise. This is definitely a beautiful place and Eric is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had!!

Finding your way into the unit the first time is tricky, so pay close attention to the emailed instructions! The videos were very helpful. The location was great and we had an overall positive experience, but there were some important issues that took away from the stay: - The keycards did not work the entire time we were there, which meant every time we got back to the unit, one of our party had to go around the long way to get to an elevator and then come down to assist the elderly folks in our party so that they didn’t have to make the trek. We appreciated Eric’s efforts to try and get the keycards fixed/replaced, but it was not resolved during our stay. - The windows and patio were filthy which impacted views and our ability to enjoy the outdoor space.

The home is great, and the proximity to the ocean is outstanding! Eric was a wonderful host! There was a bit of a snafu one day. He was extremely responsive, got right on it and it was fixed in no time! Really appreciated that! He provides a video of how to get into the condo, couldn't have been more grateful for that! Overall, a wonderful stay. My family and I would and likely will stay there again! Thanks so much, Eric!

Beautiful place on the beach. Great view and location. Enough space for extended family. The storage closet had chairs and stuff for the kids to play in the sand. Kitchen knives & pans were well loved and need replacing. Host kept telling me someone would fix the broken toilet but it wasn’t fixed in the 5 nights we were there.
