Hemos estado unos días en esta casita monísima! Tiene de todo para pasar unos días. Lástima que nos hizo mal tiempo y no pudimos disfrutar del jardín pero con buen tiempo tiene que ser una pasada. Gracias María por los detalles de bienvenida y por tu hospitalidad! Un abrazo!

We hebben een prachtig verblijf gehad. Het huis is zo ongelooflijk rustig gelegen, te midden van mooie natuur met honderden vogeltjes en een geweldig uitzicht op Montánchez en het kasteel. Het huis zelf is fantastisch: heel ruim en proper en bijzonder goed uitgerust op elk vlak. Wij hebben zelf veel gekookt en ook de bbq gebruikt, maar in het stadje op 20 minuten wandelen zijn ook restaurantjes. De tuin (met zwembad!) is een paradijs. De ligging is ook perfect, want alle bezienswaardige plekken in Extremadura liggen op een uur of minder rijden (Mérida, Trujillo, Cáceres, Monfragüe). En María was een schitterende host: ze gaf goeie uitleg vooraf, wachtte ons op bij aankomst, voorzag enkele producten ‘de la tierra’ en was nadien steeds bereikbaar voor tips en uitleg. Kortom: een onvergetelijke vakantie en een absolute aanrader!

We really enjoyed our week at Maria's house. It was even nicer than the photographs on Air B&B. The view from the terrace out to Montanchez was beautiful, and we also enjoyed the sunsets. The terrace and the indoor areas were very comfortable, and the house was very well-equipped. The kitchen was excellent. Being out of town, the house was very quiet, but it was only a short drive into town. We enjoy walking, and there are many nice walking trails nearby. Thanks to Maria and Luciano for being great hosts.

We loved our stay at the airbnb house of Maria and Luciano. They were so nice and even made the pool available because I love to swim. The house and garden are private and you have lots of places to relax and enjoy the view.

María’s place was set in a beautiful country setting with plenty of clean air and vegetation to breath and see. The rooms were spotless and spacious and Maria was able to set up a crib for our 1 year old which we very much appreciated. Montanchez itself has some good restaurants but highly recommend surrounding towns as well like Almoharín for figs. Overall wonderful stay.
