Absolutely beautiful property right by the beach, this place is honestly amazing. We were well-received and were given lots of recommendations for things to do in the surrounding area, such as visiting the many beaches, seafood restaurants, day trips to ancient ruins, hiking up Mt Oros, and the wonderful Moni island. Definitely worth the price, we spent a week here, its a perfect distance from town to still be able to go to Aegina without too much hassle, but to also have the privacy and tranquility of staying away from all the tourists. Can't recommend enough!

We are returning guests at Koukas's house, and our two- week stay there was again wonderful! This time we brought another family with us, and the time we spent together at this beautiful place will remain an unforgettable memory. Geoge and Athena once again welcomed us to their home, as true friends. They are really just very lovely and generous people. Undoubtably, their home, which they have designed and built themselves, is a truly very special place. you can feel all the love and passion they have put into it. George is a symbol of Philoxenia (Greek Hospitality) He left us his own home-produced Olive oil and Greek sweets. Many thanks to George and Athena, you are so kind, we enjoyed your hospitality. We feel very fortunate and grateful to have stayed at this beautiful and comfortable home on this magical island. There are so many treasures hidden all over this small land. Nature is Aegina is fascinating, the monastery of Chrysoleontessa is an architectural masterpiece.

Quel bonheur et privilège de séjourner dans la très belle maison de la famille Koukas.Tout est pensé pour le confort et le bien-être des hôtes. Nous avions l’impression d’être dans notre maison de famille tant elle est accueillante et pleine de charme avec ses objets de famille, son beau linge de maison... Loin des studios meublés IKEA où des hôtels sans âme, la maison de Iorgos et sa famille est un cocon. Les chambres sont très propres, confortables, climatisées, les deux salles de bain sont pratiques, la douche extérieure est merveilleuse. Les espaces de terrasse sont bien aménagés et variés. La cuisine extérieure est idéale. Quant à l’accueil de nos hôtes, entre délicates attentions et bons conseils, il nous a tout de suite permis de nous sentir bien chez eux. A 10 minutes du port d’Egine ou de Perdika, la maison est idéalement située, face à la mer à 5 minutes de marche, et au calme sous les grands eucalyptus ! J’aurais presque envie d’en garder le secret !

DO NOT HESITATE to rent this beautiful , clean and spacious property with truly excellent location and spectacular sea views. Mr. Koukas and his lovely wife are gracious hosts, kind and easygoing. Mr. Koukas is a great communicator, and we want to thank them again for their warm welcome and especially for changing their schedules to accommodate with our flight delays. We've loved staying in their villa. The villa is more beautiful than what it looks like in photographs. It has very pleasant and positive energy. It has 5 roomy bedrooms with very comfortable beds 2 bathrooms with good showers, an excellent AC in every room. There are 2 large verandas with tables and chairs and sitting areas in every corner. It can comfortably accommodate a large group of people. Beautiful landscaping with olive and citrus trees and some other flowering plants. We especially loved the convenience of the outdoor shower. The house is placed at the wonderful spot, a few steps down from a small beach with a pier, where mostly locals hang out. There is an upscale restaurant called Fontas just few steps from the house, serves terrific food and has relaxed atmosphere, we think it is the best restaurant on the island, unforgettable sunset experience. Aegina island is truly a unique place with very friendly people and not too many tourists. Aegina is the beauty of simplicity full of charm and the ancient history, a wealth of enchanting footpaths and hides within her the whole Greek history. If you want to experience all the island has to offer -rent a car. We only had car for 5 days and used it to visit Palia Chora and Saint Nectarios monastery and Perdika . On the days we didn't have car, we enjoyed early morning walks up the hillside with magical views of Saronic Gulf and Ancient Olive Grove in vicinity. There is a bus stop a few steps from the house and we used bus transportation to get to Aegina town for lunch. The fragrant Eucalyptus trees are plentiful in this area and their scent is very pleasant. Visiting Moni Island was a great experience, too. "Divine are the days here..." says the famous Greek writer Nikos Kazantzakis about Aegina Island and we find it to be true. We cannot wait to come back to this blessed island, and we would most definitely like to stay in Koukas's villa again. .
