April is the perfect host. Personable and professional. Very good hearted woman. Don’t worry about the 4 dogs. They ONLY BARK when you get home. They leave you alone and just want to hangout in their special sleeping spaces. You won’t even know they’re there. A few sleep under blankets and you can’t even find them and they never enter your bedroom. Perfect location it’s a few miles further out than other BNB’s, but it’s total peace, beauty and quietness. I give this BNB an A+
Home sits on a few acres in the country, but minutes away from grocery stores and restaurants. Quiet, clean, comfortable setting. Host is very gracious, and a great cook! There is another long term renter there as well. She is very nice, and easy to get along with. Two super sweet, well behaved dogs live there too. My stay was for 13 weeks. I dont think I could have found a better place to stay. If I am ever in the area again, I would seek this place out.
Due to unforeseen circumstances I was not able to complete my stay, but during my time there April was kind and her place adorable! We sat and talked about the area, of which she was a great source of knowledge, and her yard was wide open and peaceful. April went above and beyond to help me when issues arose, and I would recommend her place to anyone thinking of staying in/near Spartanburg.
Good Place
It was great you could keep private, or you could certain watch TV with the family. You are always welcome to matter what you did very enjoyable.

Hi, Im April and your honorary host is Reese, my adorable Chipin. She & her sisters will greet you on arrival with much enthusiasm, kisses even if you like and perhaps her jumping jack act. They let my husband & I stay around here to do the cleaning and keep their bowls full. Our lovely little corner of Spartanburg has a family history dating back to the late 1800’s and memories abound. As children, my brother & I spent our summers here with our grandparents who grew the best tomatoes, okra and green beans in the county, with our “help” of course. Playing in the sand with their silverware & slipping off next door into our aunt’s small general store were part of our daily routine. You could say I’m back to my roots now.
