Great condo a short walk to 2 beaches with excellent snorkeling. Snorkel boats park right off the reef at the beach every day so it must be a pretty good one. Check in and out was straightforward. Beach kit at the condo has all the stuff you need other than a snorkel (easy to buy or rent in kehei if you’re interested). The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, beds/bathrooms/etc all nice resort type stuff. The views are amazing, could not be better. You can just step out on the deck to see what the tide is like at the little beach! Highly recommend this spot.

I have nothing but great things to say about Anke’s home. The location is fantastic, with short walk to beach and short drive to resort area. Enjoy stargazing and whale watching in addition to fabulous snorkelling- we saw amazing fish and turtles! House was very spacious for our family of four. House was super clean and all beach amenities were listed as described and then some. Kitchen was very well supplied. I hope we get the chance to return again soon!!

A perfect stay in Maui! Such a beautiful view and a great location. The beach cove in front of the condo was perfect for quiet mornings and evenings. The condo itself was very clean and was the perfect space for 2 couples. Would absolutely stay here again!

We’ve been to Maui a number of times but this is the first we’ve been to Mākena Surf. The apartment is as advertised, and spacious for our family of four. The location is impeccable - just a few mins drive from the Shops in Wailea and the hustle bustle. There’s a beautiful cove outside of the balcony, a short walk to Chang’s beach on the other side of the property, and 5-mins from Mākena Beach. The beds were more comfortable than the hotels, and the bathrooms were v nice. The kitchen was also well stocked with spices for the few meals we cooked. Anke was highly responsive, and kudos to quick her quick troubleshooting when a maintenance issue came up during our stay. Would highly recommend and we hope to come back again!
