Unclean bathroom walls, 6+ nauseating air fresheners, smudges/hair on some dishes from previous guests despite higher cleaning fee. Dishwasher but no pods for use, despite asking. Regular dish soap watered down (maybe why dishes weren’t properly cleaned). 20 mins from city, 10 mins is after city limits. Poor lighting above small entrance step. Very poor, unprofessional, avoidant communication style. Selectively ignores questions/concerns. Inaccurate info in house rules (eg wifi password, checkout time). Sent maintenance over without receiving a message read receipt so had no notice of who was knocking to feel safe to open door. Recommend using app to communicate for accurate documentation. Spider/insects on bedroom ceiling despite keeping doors closed. Close to (friendly) neighbours, but no privacy outside, dogs wander over, loud music. Made request for one less day, neither accepted/denied and finally said if you have to leave, leave why tell me. Unsure why communication is so poor.

The house was very clean, and had everything we needed for cooking, showering and sleeping. The view was spectacular, the neighbours were very friendly and helpful Althea was very responsive on any questions or concerns we had. We would definitely stay there again if we are back in Sault St Marie.
