Noah and Corey are the sweetest co-hosts and they’ve put so much thoughtful care and attention into their guest house. It’s such a beautifully updated space that honors its historic Healdsburg legacy and despite being a block from the plaza (and attached to their gorgeous house!), it’s SO quiet and just a really easy stay overall, especially with a small dog. Thanks for having me y’all!
We recently stayed for about five weeks and had a lovely stay. I was primarily looking for a quiet, safe, dog friendly space in the north bay and was pleasantly surprised with how charming Healdsburg was. This home was a short walk from great restaurants and was surrounded by neighborhood sidewalks perfect for dog walking. The bedroom had generous storage in the closet space and above it, allowing us to comfortably unpack our belongings. I worked remotely from the desk without disruptions, and enjoyed the a/c unit during the hot summer days. Another added bonus was how comfortable the mattress was - both myself and my husband were impressed. Overall, I couldn't have picked a better place for us and am so glad we spent our time here.
Fantastic stay! The space was beautiful and as described and pretty much right on the square. Can't beat the location, can walk anywhere from here (even Safeway for groceries!) and the bikes provided were perfect for exploring Healdsburg. Hosts were great as well, perfect communication and super friendly. Believe the hype from all of the reviews, would definitely recommend.
We stayed a little over two months in Noah and Corey's sunny historic bungalow. What a great location! It's practically on the square. I'd wake up every morning and walk a block to get our lattes at Black Oak Roasters. Or walk less than that to pick up Italian-imported pastas, sauces and wines at Ciao Brutto. The private side yard is a gem, esp for the furries! It was a safe place for Grace to stretch her legs. We had off-street parking, and bikes for use. This is a small one-bedroom, but was big enough for us. We communicated with the owners in advance, and were, thus, smart about packing. The living-room can accommodate a queen sofa bed. One wish was for more shelving in the bathroom for storing toiletries and makeup essentials (and, maybe, a dresser in the bedroom closet!). The kitchen was small (skinny fridge, for example), but had most everything we needed. We did eat in a lot, because the restaurant prices in H'burg have gotten a bit too precious (I am writing this during the inflationary times in Oct. 2022). We also walked/biked to the farmer's market on Tuesday morning. It's one block. Most importantly, the king bed was very comfortable, and there are nice velvet darkening blinds to block the light. N & C were super-accommodating. If we needed anything we forgot, they brought it to us. They impeccably maintain this slice of architectural history, and really care about the details. For example, even though it's historic, that doesn't mean it's crusty, rusty, or doesn't work. They've refurbished most everything (all the windows are operational). Thankfully, though, the floors are pet-nail friendly! We always appreciate hosts who accept cats, not just dogs. Thank you, Noah and Corey, for a great extended stay and for introducing us to some great wines! We loved the Heartwood House! We'd definitely come back.
