The first thing you are greeted with as you arrive at Shangrila Villa is the most spectacular uninterrupted view of the Caribbean Sea which is without doubt one of the “WOW” factors of this property and where you can enjoy your own private pool, garden and terrace. Private Pool Sleeps 8 guests Wi-Fi, Parking, Full kitchen, Air conditioning to bedrooms which are all en-suite. Safe tranquil location directly off the A2 on the South coast on the anchor estate Culloden Whitehouse near Sandals The Villa sleeps up to 8 people, has a full working kitchen with all utensils and washing machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, fast wifi, parking, air conditioning, standing fan in each bedroom and all rooms are en-suite. There is a spacious living area overlooking the fantastic view and without a doubt the main highlight of this property is the pool and patio terrace area where you can relax, swim enjoy your meals and take in the breathtaking view. The property has books, board games, toys and the obligatory box of dominoes for you to use during your stay. The property is set in a wonderful well kept garden with shaded sitting areas for your enjoyment. There are many fruit trees including banana, breadfruit, mango, cherry and of course an ackee tree the fruit from which is used in the National Jamaican dish of ackee and salt fish For your safety we have an on-site caretaker / groundskeeper, CCTV coverage of the outside of the property, safes are available in each bedroom. We have fire extinguishers carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.

The layout of the villa is out of this world, the oceanview is breathtaking, the garden with the well kept grass and fruit-bearing trees makes the location so relaxing, so serene so soothing. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed so comfortable. The pool is handy! This was a home really and will always come back The owners, Courtney & Brigitte are pleasant, excellent communicators, affable and obliging. I wish them a big success in this business. Joojo

Had an amazing stay with one mom, three adult kids. I worked mostly with their property manager, who arranged a daily chef, a car & driver, housekeeper, stocked fridge and rides to/from MBJ. Both the manager and the owners helped us with a couple recommendations to narrow down good day trips. The owners are super responsive and very knowledgeable. They were even staying in Jamaica while we were there so we met them, and they were kind and friendly people. The view is stunning, everything was spotless, clean, easy location to get to Negril or South Coast, kitchen was well equipped with what we needed to cook at home for breakfasts and dinners (toaster, coffeemaker, cookware, utensils, etc). When the power cut once it popped right back on, the wifi worked great, ACs in the bedrooms were chilly and dehumidifying, fans everywhere, great cross breeze in the living room. Would gladly rent this house again or any other place from the owners.

The property is beautifully situated atop a hill on the southwestern coast of Jamaica overlooking the Caribbean Sea in a gated community. Extremely easy access to town where venues are abundant where you will find everything you could need to complete a fantastic vacation in paradise. The house is very modern and clean throughout. All modern appliances and amenities. And then there's the pool. A very nice, comfortable pool to catch the sun and watch sunrises and sunsets. This was such a wonderful experience and we plan to make a return visit either later this year or sometime next year. Pamper yourself with this extravaganza, it's well worth it. Amedee Jones

The place was great and very clean. The host was friendly and very accommodating. He made sure to make us comfortable even in New Year’s Day. The view is gorgeous and the small private beach was perfect. All in all, would recommend.

Nestled in the safe and friendly community, in the pleasant area of Whitehouse a local fishing village away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas yet close enough to visit, Shangrila villa is located on the Anchor estate of Culloden by the sea near to Sandals. Being immediately off the main A2 the property is easy to find and can take you to any area of the island, being a small island nowhere is too far and the drive is always a journey in itself with wonderful views sights and experiences all en-route. Everywhere you drive you will come across local jerk huts, restaurants and small towns offering shops and amenities you just need to get out there and explore.
For beach lovers the property comes with access to its own small residential beach, there are beautiful beaches with crystal clear warm waters in abundance along the coastline with the local Bluefield’s beach only 10 minutes by car. For nature lovers the opposite view to the coast offers beautiful green vegetation and wildlife

Negril for it’s 7 mile beach and famous tourist spots including Ricks café and Woodstock
Montego Bay for the famous strip, shopping and attractions

The hosts have a wealth of knowledge about every aspect of the island. If arriving by your own car and you want to organise your own itineraries, they can help by providing the information and literature you need, for you to arrange the self guided tours as above yourself, and give directions on how to best access the island.
If you do not wish to drive yourself and you need Tours, JUTA TAXI or Airport transfers we can recommend private reliable drivers who can see to all of your transport needs this is a separate service and fees are paid and arranged directly with the provider. JUTA taxis are the safe recognised and licensed transportation system for tourists, local taxis are available but these are not usually recommended for tourists with no knowledge of the system or area, to stay safe we would always recommend using JUTA.
