The location of this airbnb is pretty and off of the beaten track. The place is clean and there are games and activities downstairs. This is probably on me, but I wish I had read the listing more carefully and realized that (1) this is a guest house on the owner's property not your own property, and (2) that the upstairs and downstairs do not connect other than via an outdoor staircase so they are essentially separate apartments. This could be ideal if you are travelling with friends, but not so good if you have small children that you do not want to leave at night in a place where they cannot access you (and you them) very easily. My husband and I slepu upstairs in the murphy bed which was not very comfortable (as some others have mentioned). We were mostly there only at night and in the earlier morning and did not see the owners in person. Overall, this could be a really nice place to stay for the right group.

Make sure you read the listing details carefully before booking! The first photo is somewhat deceiving as it seems like that is the view from the airbnb; while you do have access to that view by walking across the lawn it is not seen from the house itself. I also did not realize when booking that the upstairs and downstairs are essentially TWO SEPARATE UNITS which can only be accessed by going outside. This made it difficult traveling with my two young daughters as we all ended up sleeping in one unit. Some of the communication seemed a bit excessive at times and I felt nickel and dimed when I was told checking in slightly early would be an additional fee. It seemed as if the communications were not coming from the host himself as when we met the host he was very friendly. The place is beautiful and my daughters loved the playground as well as all of the games in the downstairs unit; they especially came in handy during the rainy days we were there!
