We loved our tent at night and had a nice experience here for a one night stay. I was incredibly grateful that we were the only guests on the property as that made the kitchen and bathroom area usable—we have a toddler and a baby so we needed to eat inside the kitchen to avoid the yellow jackets. That would have been hard to do if other guests needed to use the space. We did pick up two ticks —one on me and one on my daughter so check yourselves very well! They were so tiny we thought they were sand sticking to our skin from our walk down to the river. The river wasn’t swimmable where we accessed it, maybe we missed out by not choosing the other trail? We didn’t have time to explore more. Everything was very clean and clearly very thoughtfully created.

if you are for bit of adventure and are flexible, you will love this place! Tents and are nice, but remember that it is still camping. spotted wildlife and heard owls at night.

Enjoyed the glamping. It was a nice break from hotels and restaurants. We grilled stakes on the propane grill. Has a nicely stocked cooking/shower cabin. Our tent was perfect. Glad to have the extra blankets because it got chilly overnight. Not a lot to do in Cave Junction. We stayed enroute between the Redwoods and Crater Lake. It was nice to visit with the other guests. A fun experience. Would recommend. Not a lot to do in the town. We decided to skip the cave and drove on next morning to Shady Cove and loved the kayaking on Rogue River class 1 rapids.

getting to the tent was the only minor complication, but Patricia was available by phone to walk us through it. the tent was exactly what we expected and very comfortable. rechargeable lights were available to use, and there were outlets in the kitchen you could use to charge phones or small generators. the river was a little bit of a walk, but clean (and cold). Porta potty available for bathroom needs, and showers located in the kitchen building
