Jungle cabin, just as described. Host quick to respond. Showering outdoors as god intended. Slept like a dream. Even got to snuggle with the sweetest cat. Ask for a fan if you sleep hot like I do.

This was the highlight of my trip to the island. Don was a fantastic host and showed me his and Fran's farm and nearby hot springs in recent lava flows. The sounds and sights of the land are amazing - I will never forget them. The off the grid living space was really fun, very comfortable and I learned a lot from Don about the land, plants, animals and culture/life in Hawaii. I hope to visit this wonderful property again!

This place is truly one of a kind and very special and beautiful. It is simple but has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped and functioning. It’s in the jungle and all night long the Coqui frogs sing, quite loud actually but also very soothing. The area is gorgeous, very close to the ocean, not for swimming but for watching the waves and listening. Lots of flowers and plants I have never seen before in my life. The owners are very responsive and friendly. I would return anytime if I could. Thanks a lot for making my stay memorable!!!

I was given a warm welcome and everything was shown to me. I got lots of tips for trips and places to visit. Don gave me a tour of the farm and shared his great knowledge. A great experience in the jungle, I can recommend it to everyone. A lot of heart and soul was put into this cottage, I thought it was great. It is quiet, at night you hear the frogs, which can be loud, but I got used to it by the second night. Try it out, I'd love to come back. I wish you all the best, lots of love and blessings.

Nice adventure to explore both sides of the big Island, the book on the night table has a complete understanding of the big Island. Francesca and Don provide great information of the farm and Island . I recommend this place for open minded people with an adventurous spirit.
