I am a person who, when travelling, wants to get to know the local people, their culture and see what their everyday life is like. This place is exactly such an experience. The place is very charming, people here live in harmony with nature and the hosts are a wonderful, warm and loving family. I couldn't have imagined a better stay here. I recommend to everyone, I will definitely come back here and thank you for the opportunity to meet you.

Now for everyone who is looking for a luxurious stay: This is NOT the place. For everyone who is looking for an authentic experience and is fine with spending a night in a mud hut, with an earthen floor, a bed which has a mosquito net, this is the place to be. The family is extremely nice and will make sure you feel comfortable. The communication via whatsapp also went smoothly. The lake is not far from the house and I recommand to go there at least for the sunset for it is truly beautiful and worth seeing. So, it is a very simple accomodation, I'm a simple traveller and this is made for simple people who want to really experience Kenya. I certainly enjoyed my short stay there. It was a great experience. Otewa and his family are very gentle kind and lovely family. The accomodation its a very special hut very close to the lake Victoria maybe less than 5 minutes walking where its possible have a swim anytime. Also the Motorbike safari was fantastic. He show me a very special local places around the lake. Its a great ride around the local comunity and and historic local place passing by the hills where is possible have other view of the lake and islands around. Also we where doing a hiking to the waterfall near the house where its possible have a very good view to the lake and the islands around. And the food was amaizing enjoying every day fresh vegetables and fruits and the chance to have local fresh fish. Its a special place at lake Victoria for a holidays outside of the big tuorism bussines of Kenya. Also Its possible go to the near natural Park to see the wild animals like Rhino zebras etc by motorbike ride passing by others hills and nature around. Very good time.
