Pitcairn Cottage is a gem of a place. Easy to find, easy access and parking right outside the door. Upon entry we felt right at home - decor was beautiful and modern, with clean lines and a tasteful colour scheme. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and James had left a few tasty essentials to get you started. The cottage was immaculately clean, with loads of fresh towels and the bed was super-comfy. The log fire in the living room was a real treat and James went above and beyond to get us going with it (we are log fire newbies lol). There was only the 2 of us so we didn’t use the 2 well appointed upstairs bedrooms but the views from up there were amazing!!! (The views from the large living and kitchen windows were just as good btw). The bathrooms (en suite and family) were so clean and both had great showers. Overall we loved the cottage and couldn’t find anything to change. James has done an amazing job with modernising it - def worth a stay!!

A very beautiful and well equipped house. Between a group of 5 of us we cooked meals every day at the house and were never caught short with amenities. The view is beautiful and it is very quiet at night making it a great night’s sleep.

The best Air BNB we have ever stayed at! Exceptional quality furnishings and very clean, we found the beds very comfortable and a welcome pack of basic food was left for us. Will certainly stay there again when in the area.

Lovely stay at a lovely cottage. It's really a home from home when we come to visit our family. Always clean and well maintained. Just as described.
