Our party of 11 loved our stay at the log cabin! Such a beautiful place inside and out. The working fireplace added to the rustic experience. The kitchen was stocked with all the usual items you would need and some extra. Fatima, the host, was very responsive to my questions as I needed specific answers to plan for this large party. She answered all my questions in preparation for our trip. Having Doug, the care taker on premise, was very helpful and friendly too - there when we needed him and invisible the rest of the time. The large living room was comfortable for all of us to hang out in. Flying into Kona and shopping at Costco allowed us to make fabulous home-cooked meals. Only a 20 min drive to Waimea for restaurants and grocery shopping. There was a lot more amenities that we weren't able to take advantage of this time due to our schedule but we can't wait to try them out next time (i.e. the BBQ, beach equipment, etc). We enjoyed the home and have great memories!

Awesome caretaker made us so at home, he had the perfect balance of available and supportive but not intrusive. Gorgeous place, gorgeous setting great for our large group with older people and little ones and everyone in between

Our family of eight really enjoyed staying at The Log House! The space is HUGE! The house itself was built in the 70s so it’s got rustic charm and it has a bit of a musty smell. The space is clean, well furnished and stocked. The caretaker Doug is really kind and helpful. My kids named the cat Chunky. We would definitely stay here again. One thing to keep in mind. This place is in the rainforest. It can be cool and wet at times.
