We have visited Ella’s lodge for 3 years running and will be back again next year! It’s perfect, peaceful and private. The paddock is amazing for our little one and dog. The lakeside view is killer. Some amazing pubs within 5/10 miles. When you find a gem, we just keep revisiting. See you next year!

The surrounding areas provided active and relaxing things to do for ourselves and my very active German Shepherd. Waking up to the sunrise over the reservoir, having plenty of outside space for Bonnie to run around while playing with the frisbee and enjoying the hot tub under a sea of stars on our final night made every single moment magical!

Great cabin by the reservoir. Nice hot tub too . Struggled to find it by address and postcode only , (and found the key safe tricky to open ) suggest you put address into a maps app which our friends did and it worked well for them . We visited Foxton locks and also had Sunday lunch at the pub in Naseby . Both were great to do. Also the world peace cafe at the Buddhist centre in the next village along and a walk round their grounds , full of snowdrop - open to all . A lovely relaxing weekend. Thank you
