We have family in the area and have stayed at Marcia’s several times. This is by far the best equipped Airbnb in which we have stayed. The kitchen is a delight for anyone who loves cooking. There are linens and towels galore and the place is cozy and comfortable. The area is quiet and peaceful.

This peaceful farmhouse helped our family relax and slow down after the holidays. With a fully stocked kitchen, we cooked several meals with ample cookware and utensils. Beds were extremely comfortable. Marcia thought of all the details and amenities to make our 2 night stay a true "get-away." We hope to come back and stay longer in the future.

Our family of 4, plus our German Shepherd, stayed at the farmhouse for Thanksgiving. It was perfect! Very cozy and comfortable. We had everything we could possibly need to cook our scaled down Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen is so well stocked with every pot and pan, utensil and even foil and ziplock bags! We had everything we could want or need! Our dog was delighted with the toy basket and dog blankets and was also right at home! She even found some new toys to ask Santa for this year! The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. We made use of the fire pit for s’mores. The setting was beautiful with the Christmas tree farm out back. We had a wonderful time and are so grateful to Marcia for sharing her wonderful home with us!

This has been the best experience! The house was spotless!! It’s very quiet and private, great location for stargazing. They have everything you need and more. The Blue Ridge Parkway is minutes from the house. Thistle Meadow Winery is a must, you pass it on your way in. We will definitely be coming back here!
