The accommodation is located by car about half an hour from the harbour. You have to drive mountain roads and you should feel comfortable driving. The accommodation is one of several apartments. The view is wonderful and it is very quiet. You see the mountains and the sea. A large terrace invites you to sunbathe or read. The accommodation was very clean and equipped with everything you need. You can also stay in the apartment with four persons (friends or kids), because you have two seperate bedrooms. We were only two. A beautiful bay can be reached on foot in a few minutes. There are sunbets for free available. Ioannis is very friendly and helpful if you need his support. We had a small problem and he solved it instantly. Ioannis brought us cheese and grapes. Both were delicious and we were very pleased. We recommend the accommodation. Everything was great! Thank you very much, dear Ioannis.

We visited Naxos for 5 days and stayed at Ioannis Vineyard Pensionen. We really enjoyed our stay at Mikra Bay. Thanks to the generosity of Ioannis, we were allowed to gather so much fresh fruits and vegetables for cooking, that we went never hungry. The location was very nice, and the morning view of the bay was delightful. We missed nothing and had everything required to cook, rest and energize between our trips around Naxos. Especially the spacious terrace invited to stay outside until late at night and to enjoy the starry sky, the sound of the waves and the cool evening breeze.

What an amazing holiday we had at Rozako, Mikra Bay! We are so sad to leave after one of the best holidays here in Naxos and the wonderful hospitality received from Ioannis and his family and Alexandra who first met us at the port, waited for us to get provisions and then drove ahead of us to show us the way and introduce us to the apartment. This is a special place indeed and Ioannis with his kindness and generosity makes it so. Not only is the location stunning and the accommodation very comfortable (we were a family of four including two teenagers) but Ioannis makes you feel so at home and welcome. An added bonus for us was the abundant fruit and veg growing on site that you are able to pick and eat. There is a beautiful secluded little beach a two minute walk away that we frequented often. Mikra Bay is a great base for exploring the island too. It's best to hire a car, picked up from the port on arrival. The roads are windy and mountainous but everyone drives slowly and carefully and we soon got used to them. Get what you need at numerous supermarkets in and around Chora (Naxos Town) or the main beaches. We explored the island from North to South by car and boat and it is stunning. Everywhere we went people were friendly and welcoming. A truly special holiday that will stay with us. We'd certainly go back. Thank you do much Ioannis. We miss Mikra Bay!

The view is breathtaking -the flat is nestled in a vineyard, with unobstructed view on Mikra Bay. It is gorgeously decorated and the temperature is always cool inside. The host Ioannis and his agent, Alexandra, were always super nice and helpful. Ioannis even encouraged us to help ourselves to the strawberries, courgettes and herbs he grows in the garden. He also gave us ultra fresh eggs, local cheeses and wine. All delicious. When Ioannis found out that it was our little girl’s birthday, he even got her presents!!! And he left a paddle board and some beach toys for us to borrow. This was the perfect flat for us as we wanted an authentic experience of Naxos. We could do day trips to visit the various sites and then be back in time for a swim, with the beach to ourselves. However, this might not be for everyone. Most sites and the main town, Chora, are at least 30 minutes away by car through windy roads (you'd better be comfortable with mountain driving). And the closest mini markets, which are at least 20 minutes away by car, tend to charge extortionate prices (for Naxos) for a very limited range. So it’s best to do a big shop when you arrive on the island. But if you are after unspoilt natural beauty and complete peace and quiet, with very lovely host, then we warmly recommend it.
