Enjoy the best of lake life, farm life and nature. Come stay at our 120 year old farmhouse on 25 acres Enjoy the quaint farm decor in the warm and spacious home. The great room complete with shuffle board and Pinball is sure to be a favorite. Across the road Is Saugany Lake one of the cleanest lakes in Indiana . Row the boat, canoe , kayak or take a bike ride. Option to join us daily as we feed and care for chickens, goats and of course Gypsy the Donkey. So much to do! Enjoy! The farm was established in 1903 the barns are still in great shape and the owners are willing to take you through and give you a tour. The owners recently reforested the entire 25 acres. They are in the process of making walking trails and have planted 8432 seedlings. Would you like a tree planted in your name? Would you like to plant the tree? Ask the host for more details. Just across the road is Private access to a pier to fish and swim off of. Rowboats and bicycles are available and we’re on the Apple Cider Century Bike trail route. Another wonderful stay at Saugany Lake Farm in the books! We are so grateful that Mary Kay and Tim opened their cherished property up to all people as an Airbnb. It is a wonderful respite. We hope to visit many more times!
Don't miss this lake/farm retreat, best for families because so much to do, can cook your own meals, and the animals! So much fun to do farm chores, swim and play in the lake and everything we needed was there. It was nice being just enough off the beaten path to feel we were away. Lovely and helpful owners. And we brought our dog, and they had a kennel and a free dog "library". She really liked being on the farm too!
Hosts were fantastic. Went with grandchildren and they were thrilled with the animals, beach, games, etc. We had a wonderful time, would highly recommend the place.
Saugany Lake Farm is full of magic. Rainbows over the pristine lake, a donkey who leads a tribe of goats, hosts who are welcoming of all people, and the gift of serenity type of magic. We had a wonderful stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
Our family had a great time. There was so much to do right at the home - inside and outside. It was fun to feed the goats and pet the donkey.

We are located just an hour and a half east of Chicago but are 5 miles from town and 15 miles from Walmart. Just 10 miles from new Buffalo and 5 miles from three Oaks Michigan.
Once you get here it’s a wonderful walking community a 2.2 mile walk around the lake. Or take it vantage of the bicycle trails (road)
