Die Küche ist aufgrund altem Inventar und einem 2 Platten Induktionsfeld eine Zumuting und nicht zum Kochen geeignet. Die Sicherungen flogen bei der Benutzung mehrfach, diese befinden sich eine steile ungesicherte Treppe tiefer. Die Wohnung hat neben 2 steilen Treppen ohne Geländer, Stolperfallen und Stufen zu allen Räumen und zur Terrasse. Die Betten sind alt und hängen durch insgesamt ist die Ausstattung unbequem und teilweise defekt. Tassen angeschlagen und ohne Henkel, etc. Es gibt nur einen kleinen Biomülleimer, die Entsorgung des Mülls wird nicht erklärt. Vermieterin zeigt sich unverständlich bzgl Verbesserungsvorschlägen. Für uns leider ein Ärgernis über 7 Tage.

Built on the site of a Roman fort, Castrum Colianum, Ceriana took its present shape mostly in the 11th and 12th Century. The Painter's House is not far from Piazza Gian Maria Rubini, be prepared for a short walk with your luggage as the streets are narrow and vehicles don't fit! They also have lots of steps. You can park your car in any one of the two car parks either end of the town although they get busy at the weekend. The House is above another flat and across two floors the lower floor containing the bedrooms, a sitting area and a bathroom. The second floor has the kitchen/dinner, a bathroom with laundry room and a dinning room this then leads out to a roof terrace with a spectacular view across the hills. The house is best described as 'rustic' in keeping with nature of the town and we loved the fact that it was just that way. It made us feel part of the town. Our host was also really helpful and explained how the house worked. We really enjoyed our stay in Ceriana the town has many excellent value bars/shops and restaurants and an great bus service to Sanremo. It's a great base for exploring the local area.

Beautiful location! But not all beds were ‘real’ beds (for 4 persons), we had cold water and there was no WIFI.
