We stayed for a month at Patrick's place. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and great space, especially for a long visit. The location is really good, and you can get to different parts of the city all within similar amounts of time. Its on one of the main/well known streets of restaurants and shops. Patrick was VERY communicative and helpful when needed. Things to consider: There are 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. Even for 2 athletic people, this was a LOT to add to each day, going up and down the flights multiple times (with a dog). Its also worth considering, if you are bringing a pet, because it might be too much for them. It is above a "taco" restaurant and will smell like the food the whole time. So when you open the windows to look out onto the city, and go to and from the apartment, the smell is always there. While there is a retro-fitted air conditioner unit in the living room it is not powerful enough to cool the back bedroom or bathroom.

stayed here over a month, and it definitely felt like a home away from home, amazing location, beautiful place, great hosts, can't ask for more, we'll keep this one on our radar when we go back. highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Patrick's place. The apartment is very comfortable. enjoyed cooking many great meals . The stove top is 2 induction burners which work great once you figure it out. Being from the US mostly used to gas or electric stoves. The shower is fantastic and the bed was VERY comfortable and very quite at night.. AC only in the Living Room/ Kitchen area. We caught a cold spell in June so we had the beautiful windows opened most of the time. Just be ready for the stairs. You go up 5 small flights of stairs to get to the 3rd floor. We actually enjoyed the daily exercise going up and down multiple times, it prepared us for all the walking we did exploring the city. We loved the location! So much to see and do! Breakfast were the best meals we had Restaurant La Buche and L'Antiquaire Buffet are both excellent. Great croissants at La Maison Smith which is right around the corner. The only great dinner we had was at Portofino Brasserie Italienne.

Absolutely marvelous. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Perfect location for discovering the city. Spacious and pristinely clean. Beautifully designed and decorated. A lot of smart storage so that you can store all of your luggage and enjoy the space fully. Gorgeous kitchen with high-end appliances. Modern shower with great water pressure. We never ran out of hot water. Great remote work space too. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Truly excellent value. We hope we can return soon!

Patrick and Edith’s apartment is fantastic. It’s right in the heart of Québec with everything in walking distance and convenient municipal parking garages nearby in case you bring your car. We recommend the Hôtel de Ville parking lot, which always has space and like all of the SPAQ lots offers monthly passes. The apartment has plenty of windows, a nice view of the mountains on a clear day, and a kitchen which is a joy to cook in. The photos are accurate, but don’t quite give justice to the size of the kitchen or living room. Very little street noise at night, even during the busy holiday season. We highly recommend it.
