I ended up finding Dave's spot on accident but do not regret it one bit. I was planning a trip to the racetrack and was bummed to find out the only air bnb available was 30 minutes away. Little did i know this would be the best experience I've ever had. Blue Heron is a beautiful home with a nice pool table, fire pit, and kayaks for everyone to use. I look forward to next time I head to the track and get to stay at Blue Heron again.

The Blue Heron is an impressive and very fun property. It is large, clean and comfortable. It is stocked with every possible amenity you will need or want- from a pool table, to high speed internet to kayaks and canoes. Dave and Karen very friendly and they make sure your stay is enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!

Dave and Karen are excellent host. The house is just as described. Very beautiful clean and quiet. We loved our stay. We 100% recommend to anybody staying in the area.

The space is in a beautiful location. Is is well kept and the kitchen in particular is better furnished than most vacation rental properties. Grocery stores are less than 5 minutes away. Dave was proactive and responsive with communication. Thank you!

I'm a 1st Gulf War veteran (US Navy, '85-'91) and career civil servant who continues to work for the Navy (flight test engineer). Happily married since '91 with three grown kids. As a guest... We usually all get together in summers for a beach vacation on the Outer Banks (OBX) of NC. We've been OBX vacationers annually for 30+ yrs. Most of our Airbnb guest experience has been in the Norfolk & VA Beach area visiting our active duty Navy son stationed there, but we've also stayed at Airbnb's on the eastern shore of MD visiting our daughter and grand baby, as well as OBX NC. As a host... and as empty nesters, Karen and I decided to renovate our downstairs into a separate apartment, specifically for Airbnb use. We wanted to put our beautiful waterfront home to good use, sharing it with others, since it's too big for just the two of us. So far, so good...we've met a lot of great folks hosting our Airbnb "Blue Heron on Little Kingston Creek"...we are excited to host every guest who books a visit with us, and strive to make every guest prefer to make Blue Heron their preferred place to stay in the Solomons, MD area!
