This was an excellent location for walking both day and night to the Blessing of the Fleet festivities. This is a quiet neighborhood of older homes with gorgeous huge oak trees filled with Spanish moss. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom has a spacious shower, and it's well lit inside and out. There was an ample supply of coffee pods, sugar, splenda, coffee mate, and 2 mugs, and 4 wine glasses. The refrigerator is a decent size and has a narrow freezer section but no ice trays. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Cute cottage, loved the little porch for morning coffee. Beautiful neighbourhood with massive trees. Walkable to a great fish camp restaurant with a beautiful waterfront.

My husband and I stopped in Darien as a stopover from FL driving back to New England. We were pleasantly surprised with Darien & the cottage. The “bunk room” was as pictured and was perfect for us. The location was beautiful and walkable to the cute town. We loved going to Skippers for dinner & the Shanty Cafe for coffee. This will definitely become a place we will visit again, and allow more time to explore. Thank you John!

started as a way station, but ended up a hangout enjoy the town and all the history in the area. John was very proactive communicating with us. The bed was comfy, the house was close to everything in the waterfront area and very quiet. We will recommend to friends and family and will return to explore the historic sites we were not able to visit. Thanks for a great stay.
