The house is an authentic sicilian place half way up a slope and has views all over the valley including the churches of Viagrande. We walked down to the cafes and village center every day. The patio and garden are beautifully kept and we enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings in them. In the evening we used the working fireplace. Staying here was so special. We met with the owners and felt completely at ease and cared for. They exceeded our expectations when it came to hospitality and welcomed us with open arms. The facilities were above and beyond what we thought we were going to walk into. The front and back garden had an air of absolute mystery like a child playing in the ‘Secret Garden’. Walking into the kitchen was like going back in time and it was obviously decorated over time with love and also technological requirements (dishwasher hidden away in the decor). Always a treasure to seek in this part of the house. The rooms were extremely comfortable. So much storage. So much comfort. The beds were divine! And the view from each room did not disappoint looking over all of Viagrande. Not only was this accommodation a 5 out of 5. All of the interactions with the owners was outstanding. Rosella was specifically loving and helpful with her attitude towards helping and obvious love of people. Loved it!

The property is bueautifully placed on the distant slopes of Etna which gives nice cooler nights during the summer. Great value for money. Rossella is very responsive and flexible. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is place in a quiet street with an amazing view over the town, all the way to the ocean. We didn't bring a car, so we walked to the little town center for the supermarket, lunch and dinner! (be aware of the siesta, everything is closed!!) There is even a resturant that is mentioned in the michelin guide only a 20 minute walk away from the house! :) To get around its easy to take the bus to Catania or Acireale from the Piazza Urna, which is a 15 minute walk. We loved every minute of our stay and hope to come back one day!! :) thank you

Scarlet and Piero are charming and very helpful hosts. Older style family home, full of character with lovely gardens front and back.
